La Fête de la Musique a été lancée au Kurdistan d’Irak en 2008, impulsée par nos collaborateurs suite à leur première résidence en France, invités par La Pluie d’Oiseaux, où ils avaient découvert cette manifestation originale. Il était donc naturel pour nous d’y participer!. C’est ce que nous avons fait en 2009, 2010 et 2011… à suivre.Fêtes de la musique, mais pas seulement, loin s’en faut !
Mars/Avril et novembre/décembre 2012
Dou ba dou (2×2)
La création d’un quatuor franco-kurde : aux premiers jours de l’an kurde (qui commence le 21 mars), Juliette Kapla et Simon Demouveaux rencontrent Hedy Jabar et Dler Hussein. Dou ba dou (2×2) fait ses premiers pas à La Prison Rouge (Amne Suraka) et y présente ses premières mélodies devant un public intimiste, vite conquis. Expérience concluante.
Après la deuxième résidence en septembre-octobre, cette fois en France, métropole Lilloise à Lille/Lomme/Roubaix et les premières présentations au public français (cf. Nord pas-de Calais Dou ba dou), le groupe revient au Kurdistan fin novembre/début décembre 2012 pour 4 concerts, à Sulaimany et Erbil.
Les concerts ont rencontré un beau succès (totalisant plus de 1200 spectateurs).Une belle alchimie s’est mise en place entre les 4 artistes. Le quatuor déborde d’envie et d’idées. La Pluie d’Oiseaux et Hawlati souhaite mettre en œuvre tout ce qu’il leur est possible pour que ce groupe puisse s’épanouir et rencontrer un large public.

Amandine Dehant, contrebassiste, et Michel N’Guyen, violon alto, de l’orchestre de l’Opéra de Paris animent pendant deux semaines un stage pour 15 jeunes (10/16 ans) à Erbil qui se conclura avec une présentation publique, associée à celle des stages d’Arts de la Rue.
Les musiciens se produisent également des concerts, notamment pour la fête de la musique à Sulaimany et à Erbil, où il jouent avec des musiciens de cette ville.
A Sulaimany, ils interviennent à l’école française et dans deux centres culturel pour enfants.
